In most cases, Advac products are custom, proprietary formulas that
are optimized to match our customers' compound requirements. Our material development goal is simple: to provide a seamless fit as virgin compound equivalent. When Tirecycle® technology is implemented in commercial scale production, custom grades are as cost-effective as standard grades. The following versatile standard Tirecycle® grades have been tested and used in a wide range of applications and manufacturing processes. All are available in palletized polybags or custom packaging. 1 lb. samples are available on request for lab evaluation.
Tirecycle® T94, T608 - Treated 30 mesh rubber crumb. Used in mechanical goods. Durometer - low 60s Shore A. Specific gravity 1.15.
"Fluffy crumb" format. Fibrecycle® FT-684 - 70% treated crumb, 30% treated fibre. Used in forklift tires, shoe soles, buckets, conveyor belts. Durometer - 75 Shore A. Specific gravity - 1.13.
Tirecycle® C1218 - Self-curing 30 mesh rubber crumb, can be used up to 100%. Exceeds properties of traditional rebonding systems. Durometer - can be specified 60-75A. Specific gravity - 1.15.
M12 - Treated 30 mesh "overs" rubber crumb. Typically used in rubber mats. Specific gravity - 1.15.
MBS-801 - Polyolefin treated 30 mesh crumb. Used as impact modifier in plastics. Melt index - can be specified. Specific gravity - 1.15. Advac materials are produced in treated crumb and milled sheet formats. In-house strip
and wigwag production capacity will be added in the next phase of Advac plant expansion.
These formats can currently be produced at an outside compounding facility of your choice or ours.
